Total Submissions — how many times recipients interacted with this email: a rating given, a form submitted, a wheel spun. Both in-email AMP interactions and ones completed through the browser fallback are counted.
AMP Opens — opens that rendered the interactive AMP version.
Fallback Opens — opens that rendered the plain HTML version instead.
This split tells you how much of your audience is actually getting the interactive experience. A very low AMP figure almost always means one of two things:
Your sending domain is not approved for AMP yet, so every inbox falls back — see AMP approval.
Your audience is concentrated in inboxes that do not support AMP at all.
Either way, the fallback is doing its job and nobody is receiving a broken email.
Below the figures, every individual submission is listed with the recipient's email address, when it happened, and what they submitted.
The columns adapt to the component:
Form — one column per field, using the field names you set when you built it.
Star / Rate it / Like & Dislike — the rating given, and any written feedback.
Spin the Wheel — a Spin Result column showing the prize that recipient won.
The date filter covers: All time, Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, This month, Last month, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, This year, Last year, and Custom, where you pick your own start and end dates.
The figures and the table both follow the filter, so you can compare a launch week against the weeks after it.
Export downloads an Excel workbook containing:
a Summary sheet with Total Submissions, AMP Opens and Fallback Opens
a sheet per component type, with one row per submission and a column per field
The export respects the date filter, so set the range you want before exporting.
Use it to push responses into a spreadsheet, a CRM or a BI tool, or to hand a campaign's results to someone without an Ampemail login.
Someone told me they replied, but they are not in the table. Check the date filter first — the default is the last 30 days. If the range is right, confirm they actually submitted rather than only opening: opening an email is an open, not a submission.
Can I see who opened but did not interact? The open counts tell you how many, not who. The submissions table lists only people who interacted.
Why is one person listed once when they used the email several times? Some components record a single result per recipient by design. The spin wheel is the clearest case: a recipient's prize is fixed at the first spin, and reopening the email shows them the same result rather than creating a new submission.
